Hi, I’m Linh Le.

I’m a first generation Vietnamese-Chinese American. Born and raised by two immigrants, I felt that I grew up in two split worlds. One world immersed in Vietnamese culture, tradition, and language and the other world growing up as an American, but not feeling like I fit into either worlds.

As an Asian woman and highly sensitive person, I grew up feeling a little out of place and different. Feeling like the black sheep, I learned that it was easier to blend in and stay small than to accept myself, express my truth, and embrace uniqueness.

Until I started listening to my body after contracting a rare eye condition while working at a highly stressful corporate job, I realized that I was disconnected from what I truly wanted in my life. I was living according to what my family wanted and what the highly patriarchal and oppressive systems expected me to be.

In order to reclaim confidence and live my purpose, I had to confront fears, confusion, collapse, rage, and grief about how I had been living up until then. Once I decided to change careers and study Traditional Chinese Medicine, I began to write a new chapter.

I started expressing myself and living more aligned to my purpose of helping people in an intimate and deeper way after I started learning Chinese Medicine, while focusing on my health using meditation, creative writing, mind-body spiritual practices, and emotional healing.

I spent more time in nature and imagined my life differently. I picked up new tools that became my ways of unraveling and rewriting limiting stories rooted insecurities, family expectations, sexuality, societal, multi-generational and ancestral trauma.

As a young girl, I remember my mother giving me Chinese herbs, doing gua sha to release illness, and taking me to Buddhist temple on Sundays. These are my earliest memories of witnessing and experiencing traditional medicine and wisdom of Vietnamese and Chinese culture. Since then, I’ve done a full circle and became a nationally licensed Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist.

Now, I’m continuing my mission to help people find their safe space within, remember their body’s innate wisdom, and guide them in using eastern mind-body practices that have transformed me.

Thank you for joining me here!

Much gratitude,

Linh
