Why is this important?
On this day, we will gather virtually to honor the first day of Spring 2023 for the Northern Hemisphere. The Spring or March Equinox represents the transition of seasons and it is special because both hemispheres will receive an equal amount of daylight. During this time, the Sun will pass the equator from south to north. As the Sun rises, so does our life force energy. This marks a powerful time in Chinese astrology as we enter into the Wood element and its season.
The Spring season within the Yin Rabbit year is extra strong because the Chinese animal rabbit is related to the Wood element, meaning that this month of March to April will create intense and powerful energetic shifts.
In astrological terms, the same week of the Equinox will be followed by Pluto’s transition into Aquarius for the next 3 months until it goes retrograde back into Capricorn. The transition of Pluto into the fixed air of Aquarius will create major shifts in how collectively we express ourselves and how we will continue our relationship with technological advancements, human technology, and humanitarian efforts for the greater benefit of the Earth and humankind.
